Mark A. Cross began his VO career doing radio commercials in Kansas in his college years, and quickly expanded his repertoire to include audiobooks, documentary narration, and industrial films.
His on-camera work includes national television commercials for Jeep, regional commercials, appearances on daytime dramas including The Bold & The Beautiful and Passions, primetime television, and feature films. He has performed onstage in world premieres and numerous productions ranging from classical to contemporary.
Mark tackled the large production of David L. Wolper’s audiobook version of Producer: A Memoir by recording and editing the tracks in his home studio and delivering the Master CDs to the publisher, New Millennium Entertainment. The 14-hour long audiobook opens with an introduction by Mike Wallace (60 Minutes) and was very well received.
Nat Segaloff’s review states:
“Mark A. Cross handles the marathon (nearly 14 hours) read particularly well, especially the myriad names that Wolper – ever the gentleman—credits in his and David A. Fisher’s text.”
Mark is particularly adept at complex words, medical terms, and difficult to pronounce passages. No matter how the text flows, Mark is sure to “bring home the story” for your listeners. Mark can record and edit, and deliver final audio files in any format, including CD, MP3, WAV, AIFF, and FTP.
